Me too, for a lot of reasons. For example, he’s been a public school geography teacher (and not a lawyer!). LBGTQ students said his classroom was their “safe space.”

Tim Walz seems like a solid choice, and better than I was expecting. I’m expecting protests from the zentrum crowd though, as he definitely fails their purity tests.

Thanks! I found an article saying Walz didn’t give it back to the NRA, he donated it to a charity that supports families of military personnel who are killed or severely wounded in service.
That’s even better than giving it back. And now the NRA hates him. Which is good!

Last week, the Minnesota Senate voted 55-5 to approve renaming Truck Highway 5 from Eden Prairie to Chanhassen to Prince Rogers Nelson Memorial Highway.
We also would have accepted “The When Doves Cryway.”
