Kinda concerned about Walz as Harris’s pick; it’s hard to see how regular Americans can relate to a state college grad who coached football part-time at the high school he taught at, as opposed to an authentically Yale-educated lawyer and one-time venture capitalist with a movie about himself.

As I get older, and drift more Leftward, I’ve become more critical of politicians (especially when they often promise but rarely deliver. 
)
That said: I feel good about Walz, and I think picking him as VP was the best choice. He appears to be someone who believes in education; he’s taken action to feed kids and protect LGBTQ+ folks; and he’s an effective and charismatic communicator.
I’m always going to want more from politicians, but Walz is starting from a darn good place already, and I think he’s going to be a real asset to the team.

They are telling on themselves again. They cannot comprehend the idea that a woman will be the leader. So of course, they imagine Walz as the real power behind Harris.

And I love it strategically! What is Vance going to do…undermine himself by complaining that it didn’t really happen, and then go back to telling lies about Harris?
That will just open up everything Vance says to independents and moderates to scrutiny, which Walz can then demolish on his own. Prime purpose for a VP candidate there: the Presidential candidate’s attack dog.
Love it. No complacency, but this ticket is doing it.

“Kamabla” is definitely one of his weaker attempts at slapping a rival with a demeaning nickname (though he clearly thinks it’s clever since he keeps repeating it).
It doesn’t really work as direct, easy-to-understand racist mockery like “Pocahontas,” nor does it attempt to associate Harris with a specific negative trait like “Crooked Hillary,” nor is it as catchy as “Meatball Ron.”
The guy is both running scared and losing his touch.

Another likely explanation is that he just made a typo the first time and then tried to play it off as an intentional thing, like when he pretended “covfefe” was a clever gag to own the libs.
