You have to scroll down quite a way to get to independent candidacy filing deadlines by state, and he’s missed a few, but he has around a month to go for many of them.
I still do not expect him to file, but he’ll probably talk it up for a couple of weeks until his album drops.

Trump’s big mistake was running for the Republicans. If he had just gone as an independent he could have had all the publicity he was seeking and not worried about actually winning.

Wouldn’t it be perfectly on-brand for West to run a whole campaign with ads and rallies and financially shady PACs and everything, and also sleep in on filing actual paperwork so he’s not on any ballots?
