Two Kanye West campaigners are Republican operatives

Kanye West, putting a strong emphasis on the second part of “Useful Idiot”.

Kanye West is suffering from bipolar disorder, according to wife Kim Kardashian, who called for a compassion in how his statements and his campaign are covered.

If only a close family member would get him the help he needs instead going automatically into PR mode like her pimp-mama taught her…

I think the racist logic is obvious. You can hear the gears turning in Trumpians’ heads.

Yes and no. West is arguably an much more pro life candidate than Trump ever was. When was the last time you saw a presidential candidate have a break down like that over abortion?

Imagine what could happen if Kanye went on the 700 Club and had a 40 minute long interview with Pat Robertson? Between Kanye’s much more aggressive policies that included throwing handfuls of cash at pregnant women and how little success Trump had with supreme court judges with regards to social issues, it’s possible Kanye could act as a spoiler to Trump and not Biden if he plays his cards right in an hypothetical interview with Robertson.

The Republicans exploiting a mentally-ill Black man for their own ends?? Why, that sounds…totally on-brand for them, actually.

We shouldn’t be surprised if one dug deeper into the Kanye West campaign team to discover some Russians, or Russian funding. Sowing racial division has long been a top agitprop item in their anti-Western playbook.

It’s really been exploiting deep-rooted racial division more than sowing it. I say this not to contradict you but to stave off Putin’s Useful Idiots who’ll start a derail by disingenuously claiming you’re blaming the Russians entirely for racism in America.

It’s not like having a mental disorder exempts you from being a shitty politician (or person, for that matter). In fact, for many disorders like sociopathy, narcissistic personality disorder et al, it’s a bonus and indicates a proclivity to political aspirations.

Elon Musk officially endorsed West.

It’s a known strategy, probably less common in bipartisan systems, but it’s used very often in other countries. A party with less chances to get enough votes (GOP) will attempt to take away undecided votes from the likely winner (DEM) by spinning off someone which is slightly different in views to the boss (Trump), has a fresh face, isn’t known for any scandals or could pretend to represent an otherwise hostile community like West would do with African Americans.
In multipartisan systems, once the plan succeeds, the two groups reunite in a coalition and it’s just as if those who voted for the new face because they don’t like the old boss, actually gave their preference to him from start.

Which swing states, exactly? According to this map, he’s not on the ballot of any of them.

Can we just send Elon to Mars already.

“harvesting the fruits of” would maintain the analogy.

I think would be a wash - any voters he might drain from Biden will be offset by the split vote of the nutcase demographic.

Hopefully not too fiscally conservative.

Um… AFAIK West hasnt met a single deadline necessary to run for office. His ‘campaign’ is a ploy for attention… just like everything else he does.

I don’t think the Republicans have thought this through very well. A Kanye West candidacy is much less likely to split the Black vote than the dipshit vote.
