KFC chicken shortage blamed on DHL

U mad? Or are you MOlST?

What is the issue that you guys have with writing moist? It seems to me that moist is a totally normal word. Moist, moist, moist.

I haven’t posted a comment in a week and “Clucksterfuck” was gonna be my Return post.

Sigh…

Very ■■■■■. But sorry I’m taken :smiling_imp:

I’m glad to see that they at least have a sense of humor about the fustercluck::

They do things that a post office doesn’t (warehousing, same day delivery, targeted delivery, storage and then delivery to a later chosen site, lots of stuff).

The problem with DHL is they do it all poorly.

That depends strongly on how the contract between the two companies was structured. If it says nothing about it then I would be KFC could win in court. However it almost definitely says a great many things about it, and many many many probably limit DHL’s liability. Especially during some sort of ill-defined ramp up period. Also pursuing any of that is likely bad for whatever VP decided to award this contract to DHL, so they are likely in full damage control mode internally (unless whomever is in charge actually has either a more “lets document and avoid failures in the future” mentally (very rare), or a “fire first, fix things later” mentally).

So who handed the reins over the DHL and why? If it ain’t broke… which brings us to

And KFC must be liable to their franchisees for switching without a backup plan. In the UK, 95% of KFC’s are franchise stores.

Yup. National news. It is a fabulous apology.

That is truly awesome! And I say that as an avowed loather of anything KFC.

I quite detest KFC’s food but the FCK apology, the 5 Herb Twitter thing and their weirdass commercials are so endearing, I’m almost inclined to eat there anyway. Brilliant marketing

I love the word block. If it ever gets removed, a lot of my posts will make even less sense than normal.

Like that time I referred to someone as a ■■■■■ sack of ■■■■■ ■■■■■ for example.

Or Libre Office / Open Office.

This is pure speculation on my part, but I’m quite sure that DHL is much, much better at wording contracts than they are at actual logistics.

To be in the logistics business this long, and yet be so bad at it? Yeah, I’m going to bet you are right. That or some sort of mind compulsion spell they can use while in court, but I’m betting the whole contract thing…
