Now too!
Oppa Pyongyang style!
I have always been intrigued by “socialist realism” art from the Soviet and Mao China days. Showing the Great Man pointing at something seems to be a hallowed tradition. Pointing at factories, patriotic symbols, fields of grain, military might…and sometimes just looking at blueprints and pointing off into space, which I presume is supposed to evoke The Future. Many of the shots in this film recreate those old propaganda paintings.
His father would have kidnapped Michael Bay to make it for him. No style with this one.
What is the audio at 1:50 reminding me of? It’s on the tip of my brain, but I can’t place it (something from some comedy routine, like do do dooooo! do do doooooo!)
I’m guessing it’s dissident leather.
He’s China’s useful idiot.
