Posting progress on this one, as I can’t go any further right now. I’m out of food, experiencing a hunger headache and blurry vision. The idea that these seals look like fat sausages is not helping matters, either.
January was a crappy month. No sales, and just enough to scrape by.
This one will be available for purchase. It’s about 85% done, and being fed will spur me into action.

I have filed for unemployment in California, to seek assistance under the recent stimulus package that went through Congress.
I’m still not sure if I’m going to qualify for the expanded federal assistance for self-employed, but I have not been issued a letter of denial. I have been directed to conduct a job search (so illogical, considering the conditions) and I intend to do it as if I am still pursuing freelance work, even though I know times are tight for many of us.
May I use any of you as potential clients to “pencil in” for my job search? You do not have to employ me . I am simply trying to fulfill the job search requirements.
As I’ve told another, I’m still working on commissions already ordered and reporting my work hours as I should, but also reporting no income for these weeks.
Not to worry, though. I’ve prepaid May’s rent and I think I have enough food and kitty litter to last until my stimulus payment comes through (I’m caught up in the tax preparer snafu).
The bright side to this is if I qualify, the federal supplement of $600 weekly is more than I’ve ever made before and will greatly help me improve my business.
