I think it’s time to stop worrying about it and to start ar least trying to serve women, because the as much as the idea that it’s difficult and tricky gets repeated, the more things stay the same.
Like female orgasm, it’s really not that complicated. But as long as women’s sexuality is stifled by way of bad sex ed, stupid cultural stereotypes, and shame, women will shy away and men will declare it a mystery.
Female directors will help alot, because like men, they won’t trying to “crack” some code, they will just tell stories as they see them, sex included.
