What an ass. The point of the January 6 committee isn’t really about assigning criminal liability anyway; no one really thinks Donald Trump is going to face charges or do time for his role in the insurrection.
Like the 9/11 commission the point of this investigation is to get as complete a picture as possible of what happened and how so we can take steps against anything like it happening again.
If that means exposing a bunch of Trump sycophants as traitorous bastards then so be it.

And on the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 tragedy, no less. But I suppose this is a better way to keep him occupied that day than to have him attend one of the memorial services with 9/11 families and turn it into a gross self-serving political event. Maybe the boxing promoters are doing us all a favor.
