I think my favorite part is where he says, “Thank you for your attention to this matter,” as though overturning an election and undermining our democracy is minor nuisance like getting an overcharge removed from his credit card bill or a refund on those crappy Bible pillows he bought at 3AM last Thursday.
It reads like something a precocious but terribly spoiled child might write to Santa Claus explaining why they expect him to finally come through with that pet unicorn they’ve been requesting for the last three years.

It turns out it’s the places where almost all the people live, as you would expect in a functioning democracy. Funny that while the article bemoans the poor rural right-wingers who wanted to take control of the state, quoting about how they’re hard-working patriots and other stereotypes like that, it barely acknowledges that they wanted to take control from the majority.
I assume that the “statistical analyses” done by the right before they even held the election are saying that the entire election is obviously a fraud because there is no way that Orange County didn’t vote to recall. The Republicans don’t seem to realize that their strategy of winning the rural areas by catering to racism has the converse effect of pushing more conservative urban areas to the Democrats, in conjunction with changing demographics.
Something a lot of those folks would probably say, if asked, is that they are the majority, that there is a silent majority that is trying to be silenced by all this election fraud.
I’ve heard the silent majority line before. They are neither. “Obnoxious minority“ is more like it.
