I’m trying to work backwards to figure out exactly when the Republican Party became the party of trashy daytime/reality TV show hosts. Schwarzenegger keeps throwing me off because he hosted Celebrity Apprentice after his term in office so I don’t know if he counts. Plus the Democrats had Jerry Springer but that’s another case of the political career coming before the network contract.

Hopefully we’ll never know. But I definitely did think that Trump was going to lose the general election.
Still, I don’t see the far right wingnut central PA Christians supporting a Muslim candidate. Who served in the Turkish army so he could maintain Turkish citizenship. Instead of the US Army. And I don’t see the other candidates not making an issue of it.
