"Biden is eating lobster in Nantucket for Thanksgiving, while you struggle to afford groceries at home.
just wait till people hear how much ceos make, and how little they pay in taxes. i bet people will be really mad then. (/s?)
The cast of Fox and Friends are eating the soul of America for Thanksgiving and are being paid handsomely to do it:
Steve Doocy - $4.2 million/year
Ainsley Earnhardt - $2.3 million/year
Brian Kilmeade - $4.9 million/year
But by all means, letβs get upset about Joe Bidenβs lobster.
What can we learn from this? Gen Z overall does not like the maniacs on the right (the rightβs culture war angle is certainly blowing things for them in that regard by vilifying that generation to win over karens) but Zoomers are more centrist than is represented in the media but they also donβt like the way centrists on the left does things. Thatβs quite a bit to take in.
Maybe a Beto or Warren run would be more successful than an AOC run (and certainly much more successful than a Buttiege or another Biden run) to get out the base and win over new young voters? Not discounting the power Bernie and AOC have though.
Social media is ablaze after video emerged on Friday, Nov. 19, of police pepper-spraying and tasing a Black teenage student during a wide-scale disruption at a high school in suburban Dallas-Fort Worth.
The boy, who has not been identified, was part of a demonstration at the school in support of a female schoolmate who has alleged she was groped and harassed on a school bus in October.
Hundreds gathered in the hallways of the school in Little Elm, Texas on the last Friday before Thanksgiving after information spread on social media that a sophomore named Jaelyn was placed on in-school suspension after she was found talking to the person she accused of sexual misconduct.
The students walked out of their classes around 10:20 a.m. that day. One student witness said officers attempted to gather the students by linking their arms together and pushing the students back. Still, the students broke through their human chain. Swiftly, chaos ensued.
Students filmed the law enforcement officers as they shot pepper spray at a group of students and tased another as he came toward the officers. Videos were uploaded, and within minutes parents wanted to know what was going on.
Multiple videos show the police and students confronting each other. In one video, a Black boy is seen being pepper-sprayed and tasered to the ground. Afterward, the officer can be seen grabbing and dragging him by his shirt.
TEXAS!
at this point im sure it could have happened anywhere. or at least anywhere that they* allow police to patrol highschools as if they were prisons. which, is pretty much everywhere.
( and by they, i mean we )
He thought his problems were magically going to go away when he did an interview with an friendly presenter and a Donnie photo op
Nah, he and his handlers likely welcome such βattacks from the left.β All the easier to claim victimhood.
As long as he never gets to be a nurse and his name is always synonymous with getting away with MURDER, Iβm fine with that.
I tell you, thereβs nothing secretive authoritarian regimes love more than false-flag operations designed to undermine their own power and legitimacy.
I verified the tweet.
I guess the most generous possible interpretation would be that he meant to write βSouth Americaβ for that second and third paragraphβ¦ except that Mexico is still part of North America so seriously WTF.
Itβs funny, but what he means is Africans entering our borders via Mexico or Canada, which is true.
What is not true is that Biden is doing nothing about it. I mean, if CBP are catching them, then itβs working, right?
Saying Gen Z is more centrist than they seem from the media, or compared to other groups, seems like a big leap from the data in that op-ed and the articles it links to.
None of it looks at why they donβt feel represented by either party, just that they donβt feel like either party is making an effort to engage with them - although it does show they much more strongly reject the current Republican party.
All of that could just as easily mean theyβd prefer more progressive politicians and policy, as it could mean theyβd prefer more bipartisan and centrist politicians and policy.
TL;DR we canβt learn actually anything from this, without knowing why they dislike both political parties - which isnβt really covered here.
Yeah a remotely sane person would realize that
- βImmigrants have recently been apprehended crossing our border illegallyβ¦β and
- βBiden is doing nothing to stop immigrants entering illegallyβ¦β
β¦are mutually exclusive statements, but thatβs Republicans for you.
I assume the whole ploy behind taking these classes was to lend credibility to his claims that he was there to help and that he fancied himself a βmedicβ. Now that he doesnβt need that fig leaf anymore I suspect he will drop out anyway. That would make sympathetic headlines in the usual places for him, too, if he was βforced outβ by socialists (self-described ones at that, not the usual far right definition of everyone left of Nixon)
