Really? I don’t know if it’s some weird Qanon talking point. There was dust up a while ago with some highschool kids in KY. Either nascent furries or just kids doing their thing.
I don’t get this lady’s freakout about it now and the accusation is particularly ridiculous given this school district is not known for its accommodations for any kids, though they are attempting to improve. This district has become the boogyman for conservatives north of Austin as it moves towards inclusivity and addressing its entrenched racism. It’s like, why this?! Why not the usual BS about CRT or LGBTQ+ support or DEI? Those last two are at least based in real things the district is doing.

I went to find a donation link for the National Butterfly Center, since I like what they do (a lot of food for monarchs migrating and other butterflies) and that they are paying their employees during the closure. I found more info. A MAGA performative-senate-candidate from VA came by to harass the center
