Something tells me that pharmacy likely has a distinct lack of products related to birth control and STD prevention.

One million ethics scandals. (The headline always cuts off at the good part.)
Itβs a lie anyways, itβs conflating βall interactions with border patrolβ with βthe number of immigrants crossing the borderβ when whatβs happening is that the Trump policy of shoving everyone back on the other side of the border means they just turn around and attempt again.
A Florida man pleaded guilty Tuesday to threatening Rep. Ilhan Omar, more than two years after sending Omar an email threatening to kill her in 2019. Identified as David Hannon, the 67-year-old man pleaded guilty in Tampa federal court to one count of threatening a federal official, the Associated Press reported. According to court records, the charge carries a penalty of up to 10 years in prison.
The threat came in an email with the subject line: β(Youβre) dead, you radical Muslim.β Omar, one of only a few Muslim members of Congress, was asked if she was prepared βto die for Islam.β
Hoopla is a service used by libraries and their patrons, so if a book is in a library people can find it there, too.
??? Iβm not certain I understand. Do you mean the library will have physical copies of the same books?
Possibly. The digital content comes from the same publishers.
I think physical copies are more likely to be specifically selected by the librarians, while Hooplaβs books are simply whatever the service provides, so, the library staff can, if they choose, keep objectionable physical copies off of the shelves.
ETA: Just re-checked the article and it is librarians who are sounding the alarm about this, so presumably theyβre not carrying the objectionable titles.
In the end, it leads back to the same slippery slope - going after the authors who wrote the books, the publishers that distribute or sell them, and activities intended to promote them. I wonβt be surprised to see conservatives latch onto this story to scream about censorship.
Just a thought- but these bills specifically targeting Disney- if corporations are legally people- does this look like a Bill of Attainder? Which is unconstitutional.
