I…can’t watch any of this to find out, but I don’t understand. Kids in schools don’t occur in isolation. Even if you were only taking risks for your own child – as could be understandable in a parent though not a cop – wouldn’t that still let you help the others who were with them? Did they literally pull their kids out of classes while insisting the rest stay put?

The report’s authors concluded that the shooter fired over 100 shots within a 2 ½-minute period upon entering two classrooms, likely killing most of his victims instantly.
Yet, they determined it was “plausible” some people may have been saved had they not needed to wait more than an hour for medical treatment. Some of the victims died on the way to the hospital.

The fact half of the protesters were business owners and/or upper management (C suite) or adjacent, just proves to me that the whole thing was little tantrum of the bourgeoisie who don’t want to give even a smidge of power to the lower classes. And the fact, they threw their tantrum over changing one old white guy for another who’s only marginally left of his opponent (at least Biden does try to talk the talk about unionization and labor rights) just shows how reactionary they are. It’s really sad.
