So taking the numbers that came from the gun violence archive, there were about 2829 mass shootings since 2018 where 4 of people are claimed to be transgender that committed mass shootings, so you get
4 / 2928 ~= 0.0014 or 0.14% of all mass shootings. So taking the total population of the United States at around 331 million with some estimates of transgender people in the US being around 1.6 million (UCLA numbers) or around 0.5% of the population (low estimate). So for being just 0.5% of the total USA population, only 0.14% of all mass shootings for the last decade were committed by transgender people… That’s a REALLY LOW NUMBER to worry about, but obviously that’s not going to stop the fascists from demanding our blood, but I just wanted to do this cute numbers game to show that if anyone tries the whole per capita (or head count) argument, do the numbers with them and embarrass them in front of everyone. Simple math isn’t hard, being honest seems to be hard. It seems fascists are without honor and mathematical understanding.
Oh, fascists and supremacists jettisoned honor and honesty a long time ago - because it doesn’t get the results that they want. The math in their minds is that they are in the minority (or about to be) and they will use any means to maintain power and control. Sowing fear and hatred while lying about who has the truly negative impact on their supporters’ lives works. This is why they keep using that tactic, changing the group to be targeted as they see fit. Unfortunately, trying to use math or reason to calm the public is difficult when they’ve got the press and popular fiction spewing crime stories and copaganda as the lead on a daily basis.
I really wish there was a roadmap to follow that proves hearts and minds can be quickly changed for the better. So far in our history, many of us have been involved in a long, tough fight against the forces of intolerance. Sadly, we’ve been dealing with “one step forward and two steps back” since the GOP managed to get all the killer clowns together in the same tent. Still, there are strategies we can use to focus on the truth, continue the fight, and push for change

LAURA INGRAHAM (HOST): Well, Senator, we have European countries that are known to be quite progressive on various social issues that have moved against this aggressive push for gender transitioning in minors. Moved against it, but banning it, outlawing it, obviously, England, we have seen the movement in other European countries. And yet, we have entire practices, large practices, and prestigious hospitals like John Hopkins in Baltimore, the Gender Expansive Care Center with huge publicity, making big money on the mutilation of children and adults. But children. How is this allowed to stand in the United States?
SEN JOSH HAWLEY (GUEST): Yeah, we’ve got the same thing happening unfortunately in the state of Missouri, Laura. I mean, right under our noses. Listen, we have got the facts of these clinics, who’s funding them, and who’s making the money on it? Why are they pushing these treatments on parents and kids without fully exploring and telling them what the long-term consequences are, which include sterilization for life? We need to get to the bottom of who is behind this push to, in many cases, mutilate these children without telling them what’s actually going on. And all of this goes back to the fact, Laura, we’ve got to get to the facts here in this shooting, we got to prevent this from happening again. We’ve got to tell the truth about what happened in Nashville.
