Most of us in Austin ain’t holding our breath getting justice from Texas state gummint about Texas state gummint.
That reprehensible jack-move is just the kind of Red Meat® that would enliven his voting base.
And like many places, here in Texas the state AG is an elected position.
tl;dr … Paxton (R) beat Garza (D) by 10 points. In 2022.
Texans voted for an attorney general who has been under indictment since 2015.

I was at Grocery Outlet on Monday in San Ysidro, and there was a kid bagging groceries who wasn’t more than 4 feet tall and a complexion smoother than a baby’s bottom. I didn’t ask how old he was so as not to offend him (because I didn’t look much older at 14), but I would have guessed 11 or 12.

Throwing the parents under the deep fryer:
Bauer Food franchise owner Sean Bauer told CBS News that the children were visiting their parent, who works as a night manager. He said the kids were not approved to be in that part of restaurant by franchisee organization management and that any work the children did was at the direction of, and in the presence of, the parent.
