They’d privatize the roads, but even they know that the voters would revolt when they have to make payments to three different Road Plans, but still get hit with crazy charges on roads that were “out of network”.
I mean, what kind of person would put up with that kind of nonsense?
I was posting that quote in reference to the plan to put radioactive material in Florida roads.
That’s not maintaining the roads, that’s letting their pals dump hazardous materials.

Apparently they have it just sitting in giant stacks like coal tips where it has already caused flooding and is damaging the ocean…
And it comes from making fertilizer so we probably aren’t going to stop making it any time soon.
I don’t approve of just using it on roads if it’s already environmentally disasterous then that obviously is worse… But I bet there are stacks like this in most states.
What are the best ways to clean up that kind of waste and contain the pollution from it though?

These stacks are in all states that produce fertilizer. Florida’s piles are more radioactive because the deposits were formed under the ocean which allows for more Uranium and such to accumulate.
How to prevent this? Using more sustainable farming practices is a good start.
