I mean, I guess I can understand the right wing being very concerned about bad dates, after what happened to their monkey spy in Raiders of the Lost Ark.
Not in my personal experience, no.
It seems like yet another grift to exploit bigots who want to let their βinner dickheadβ hang out βloud & proud,β which means it will only attract a certain type of asshole.
Same as it ever was.
Being Thief, I bet the data collection is fierce.
As if Rand Paul would not have been the first person screaming to have Emma Goldman and Alexander Berkman deported and Eugene Dabs jailed. I really loath that man.
Excellent typo, or subtle pun?
Did not even catch that first time around. Excellent!
For when you absolutelypositively want to ensure every last unsolicited dick pick comes from a genuine nazi. The Right Stuff: accept no substitute.
Typo, but if Iβd noticed, I might have left it.
Sheesh, I canβt wait for him to STFU and go away. Yes, we need unity but his third party approach has a lot of flaws (just like his ill-considered comments). Hereβs a good piece by Michael Harriot on the need to find common ground and fight together:
Say that you support Trump but you donβt want to overthrow democracy? Youβre a TINO.
Yes, start turning on each other!
Jacobus reflects on questions of accountability and penance for conservatives who betrayed their supposed principles and enabled Trumpism, and argues that many of the Republicans who have testified before the Jan. 6 committee β and are now being celebrated as patriotic heroes β are actually self-interested actors who should not be trusted. At the end of this conversation, Jacobus cautions that the Republican Party cannot be redeemed or rehabilitated and that Democrats and the public must act accordingly if American democracy is to survive.
My fear is that the Democrats are still pretending that the Republican Party can be saved. They are pretending this is true because they are afraid to directly take on the Republican Party and the horrible things it now represents and has done. The Democrats in Congress are afraid that if they push for indictments for the Republicans who aided and abetted Trump and his coup, there will be retaliation when and if the Republicans take back control of the House and Senate. Thatβs the driving force now behind a lot of the reticence on the part of Democrats: fear.
I still believe a significant part of the problem is those pols who were in Congress when the GOP was different. That disbelief that the people theyβve worked with for years (and think they know) could support fascism causes them to hesitate. The hope they can be redeemed leads to delays as they put time and effort into cajoling folks who deserve consequences. All this plays into the power and control of those in the GOP who are straight up users and abusers.
Yeah, that seems to be a significant part of the problem.
Yeah. βDemocratβ and βfearβ do often go together. While βfearlessβ always seems to go on the other side.
Hmmm, Iβd believe his take on other GOP insidersβ¦ but how is this guy a Decomrat-whisperer getting the deep truths out?
βLGBβ
An apposite initialism.
America The GOP is not going to recover from Donald Trump
Fixed that for him.
