Figures that theyโ€™d be more appalled by those fictional charactersโ€™ drug crimes than by the fact Walter White was a mass murderer.

โ€œIf people want to understand the depths to which this anti-American sentiment is running in the Republican Party, I had two conversations yesterday,โ€ Scarborough said. โ€œOne with a family member and one with a Washington fixture, since the days of Ronald Reagan. Both were talking about how the FBI was the gestapo and they needed to be stamped out, spoke of revolution, and the Washington fixture, a guy who I always considered to be a mainstream conservative, a guy who, in the past at least, expressed concerns about some of Donald Trumpโ€™s extremities, said to me, 'Joe, we can replace the U.S. government.โ€

โ€œItโ€™s not about the government, itโ€™s about an individual,โ€ he added. โ€œHereโ€™s a guy that said we can throw away Madisonian democracy, we can throw away the Bill of Rights, we can throw away the Constitution. We can just get rid of a government that has fed and feeds more people, thatโ€™s liberated more people throughout history, thatโ€™s keeping the flames of freedom alive right now in Ukraine and in Central Europe, than any other country on the planet, and we can replace the U.S. government. That is the depths to which this cancer has spread among mainstream Republicans, and Liz Cheney is right. These people are angry, and they want to destroy our country โ€“ the country where we have democratic elections and the winners who get the most votes are recognized as the winners, and the losers concede to those winners, and Donald Trump has changed all of that now.โ€

*Not an endorsement of Morning Joe

Iโ€™m hoping he hasnโ€™t to any irreparable degree. But Iโ€™m finding the strength of his followers hard to gauge.

I wonder things like, Cheneyโ€™s loss does suggest that huge numbers of Republicans still swallow Trumpโ€™s BS, but just how many of them are there still nationally? And how committed are all that many of those that remain to acting like the deluded fools who stormed Washington on 1/6?

Too few to actually take control politically, absent profound election manipulation, but way too many when it comes to stochastic terrorism. Which is already starting. I see the leadup to November being, unpleasant? bloody? a fucked up mess? But I guess we shall see.

Yeah, thatโ€™s the difficulty, because Wyoming isnโ€™t the entire country. It trends far more conservative and likely attracts a large โ€œlibertarianโ€ faction than other statesโ€ฆ

Was this scene improvised? Seeing it without sound like that, itโ€™s clear that Cleavon Little breaks.

I donโ€™t know if it was improvised or scripted, but even if it was scripted, Wilderโ€™s delivery could have broken anyone.

a policy that prohibits teachers and staff from displaying gay pride flags and other items that district officials consider political in nature.

Fucking fascists.

And weโ€™ll be the ones who decide whatโ€™s 'political." And no thatโ€™s not the US flag itself. Which you must fly everywhere and always!!!
