Late Stage GOP Fascists Events 🖕🏾🍊🤡 (Part 4)

In fact, if you look back at how American politicians have talked about pets for the last century or two, the whole series of outrages seems especially bizarre. Dogs, in particular, turn out to be a fascinating prism for understanding the culture of politics. And, these days, they’re a pretty clear indication of how that culture is changing: Political pets were the ultimate symbol of relatability in a culture that valued unity. And now they’re another dystopian motif in an age that has elevated conflict.

For people that get real prickly about being compared to Nazis, they’re weirdly set on doing the exact same shit the Nazis did.
I know I’m preaching to the choir, but forced emigration and mass-deportation was literally the Nazi’s first “solution” - before they decided that didn’t work well or quickly enough and moved on to the Final Solution.

Maybe if Harris pointed out these direct and outrageous Nazi parallels loudly and directly, she’d have a chance of getting a headline or two (amidst the dozens that Tromp still manages to grab, every goddamn day). “Weird” and “strange” as insults seem to have lost their charm.

In addition, the “Right Thurr” artist insisted that he holds no political affiliation with Trump or any other candidate. “AND NO IM NOT A TRUMP SUPPORTER NOR SUPPORTER OF ANYONE ELSE BUT CHINGY,” he wrote, adding, “THURR YOU HAVE IT.”

First off all, happy thursday morning. Second, i’m sure this is gonna be one of the milder stories coming out before the weekend starts because of the GOP’s recent record of weird ass stories like this.

Anti-LGBT+ author and activist Corey DeAngelis has been placed on leave from the conservative group the American Federation for Children following allegations that he appeared in gay adult films.

The organization removed a page outlining his work with the group. The federation said that DeAngelis had been placed on leave while the claim that he appeared in videos as “Seth Rose” on the adult film site GayHoopla was investigated, according to LGBTQ Nation. The videos seem to have been posted around 2014, the outlet noted.

This is a viewpoint I would not have thought of, but will going forward. “Soft racism” is still racism.
