Itβs not like anything important happened in those amendments, like, say, black personhood and citizenship, womenβs sufferage, presidential term limits, and the franchise at 18, that these people might prefer didnβt exist.
Iβm sure itβs just a coincidence. /s
Is this white Trump merch sellers beating up Black Trump merch sellers or does it just look that that way? The Huff Post article doesnβt provide any details.
in the photo its a white guy beating up a black guy. that much is certain.
Every time I see that photo I think of the episode of The Waltons:
βGood night Herr Fuhrerβ
Wtf? Who thought this would be a good concept for an episode?
I remember it was always on (I think on a Sunday?) when I was a kid and there were 220+ episodes. Each of them six hours long (from memory) so you gotta jump a shark or two.

Iβm pretty sure I never watched an episode so maybe it was absolutely wonderful and I donβt want to dump on your memories.
Yes, they often did seem that long. All I remember now from reruns of that show (aside from the closing βGood night!β chorus) is John Boy being mortified that his mother found and wanted to read his diaries/journals. I think the writersβ affirmation of his desire to keep them private affirmed the growing conviction in young me that it was okay, and even a good thing, to have my own private thoughts and feelings about other people that they wouldnβt enjoy if I shared them.
I am very lucky that I had my mother for that (god bless her). I could leave anything out and she would steadfastly not read it.
She also told the school where to go when they confiscated The Atrocity Exhibition from me. Yes it is teenage edgelord lit but it was the 80s and I was a teenager and Reagan was in power.
Ah, rural western ny behavior
