American conservatives aren’t just indifferent to the shooting deaths of children, they have open contempt for the children because by dying this way the children make it harder for gun fetishists to promote their agenda.
Same goes for people who were enslaved or spent their childhoods locked up in internment camps because of their ancestry.

We understand, Ms. Boebert. The contract you signed with Satan and the NRA require you to put gun rights over human rights. We just think you’re a miserable excuse for a human being for doing so and pray that you get thrown out of office during your next election (or before, if it comes to light that you were involved in January 6th.) Boebert had to throw away the pin, not because of who gave it to her, but because she’s taken an explicitly pro-gun, and implicitly pro-murder/anti-child position. But she also can’t be explicitly seen saying, “fuck those dead kids,” so she’s also got to apologize. It’s a fine line she’s constantly having to walk (straight into Hell).
