Yeah, my initial response was, “Wait, how does she think this is helpful to Democrats?” But then I realized crediting her with any sort of reasoning on this is overly generous. I doubt she thought it through any further than “how can I tie this bad thing to the Democrats through baseless insinuations?” She figured her base wouldn’t give it any thought either.
(If there is any logic behind this, it’s dumb logic. I.e. “Well, covid was good for the Democrats in the presidential race, so…” Or she’s trying to imply a medical emergency means that the Democrats are instituting something like martial law that will allow them to interfere with the election, somehow… trying to set the stage for another “election was stolen” conspiracy, but with even less-than-no evidence for it.)
