That that is naked quid pro quo if I’ve ever seen it. Trump plans to allow conflict mineral sales in exchange for Intel building a plan in Arizona. I suppose it would be a national security issue to fund terrorist organizations. Just not the kind we expect.

“Artisanal mining” is the actual term of art used for these mining practices, and this use goes back decades. It’s not the specialists’ fault that a word that means “done in a traditional, non-mechanical manner” has been appropriated by hipster marketeers.
