Which will only serve to make him palatable to the left. It’s a headfake from douchenozzles McConnell and Grassley. They’ll gleefully let the public know how stalwart Gorsuch is in his (weak-ass) defense of the Judiciary to sell him as a supposedly-honest counterweight to trump (and quietly as a counterweight to those dastardly wimmins on the SCOTUS).

Short Fingered Vulgarian got under his skin 25 years ago, and hasn’t gotten out. SFV is what I use for most purposes. Occasionally, I run with Cheeto Mussolini, if I’m feeling less charitable.

I haven’t seen anything about his judicial record that indicates that this is the case. In fact, he looks less of a rubber stamper than Garland would have been. Where I don’t trust Gorsuch is abortion and right to die.

What? The California Republic would totally link up with Pacifica. We’d also try to absorb BC.

We’d also offer a Right of Return like Israel… except for anyone with a brain from the American Empire.

In Shirow Masamune’s estimation, after first a nuclear world war III, then a non-nuclear world war IV, he supposed the two major areas of the US would break up into the Russo-american alliance, and the American Empire, based on the relative economic access each has. The Russo-american alliance is more about being trading partners in his stories, whereas the American Empire retains much of the military power of the US today and remains allies with Japan.

But yeah, I agree, the combined economic output of California, Oregon, Washington, and British Columbia would be so massive it’d rival all the other US states combined.

BTW, the white splotches are where concentrated nuclear strikes occurred during the fictional WWIII.

do you mean BC, Canada or Mexico (or both) ?

Nuh-uh. You are not getting Whistler. As a skier, I will go to war over this.

Alternate response: You can try, but you’d run out of money just trying to buy up Vancouver.

Why not both? Wrap up the whole left coast.

Any real journalist already does that. They don’t just print water cooler rumors they heard or shit they made up out of whole cloth. They can’t expose anonymous sources, but that doesn’t mean the sources are unknown to them. This sort of leak gets published because the reporter has verified that it came from someone who was in the room.

I mean, unless we’re talking about the National Enquirer or Drudge or something.
