LEGO ship in a bottle

Just occurred to me I need to build a LEGO pirates setup to go with the most recent Alestorm album

Actually the more I think about it I’m going to have to order lots of parts to do a good Alestorm build

Rather less folkie than I imagined from the name. Good fun all the same. DRINK!

I don’t think so. The bottle provides plenty of large windows of various shapes, similar to what you’d find in the underwater base sets, etc. The ship is pretty similar to lots of their ships albeit smaller, but the edges at the base etc. look good for cars etc.

Even the “cork” looks like it’s made of some parts i’ve still got from a decade ago.

If you know me at all, that would be darn near the bottom of what I’d be referencing. Alestorm combines two of my favorite things: metal and pirates. As a bonus you also get keytar and they are Scottish. Don’t expect epic/intellectual music here but do expect that every song is gonna make you want to sing along to their stupid fun!

 Not sure if its up your alley but Diablo Swing Orchestra is pretty great, it’s a metal band that likes to mix genres. Typically in the past it’s been metal/swing/opera but in their latest album they’ve done some interesting combinations like metal/disco.

Checked a few songs on the youtub, not for me. Thanks for the suggestion though.
