Makes perfect sense. I wasn’t even aware of Callan until decades after The Equalizer left the air. Unfortunately it didn’t get much stateside release.
They drove around in a pretty distinctive van. The real question is how the authorities were unable to find them. I mean, if the Scooby Doo gang was on the FBI’s Most Wanted list you’d think that they’d at least give the Mystery Machine a new paint job.
Awwww mannn. . . “spoiler alert!”
“Face” was a con-man, I’m sure he got his own suits and sports cars with very little effort.
Loved the A-Team as a kid. I would like to see some of the old shows for old times sake. I have seen some reruns 4 or 5 years ago. Yeah, they were formulaic, a bit silly in places, but fun.
This was another show that was perfect kid fodder…
It was AWESOME!
“are they trying to shoot down the drone?”
“no, they’re trying to fly the tank.”
Ever been to a demolition derby?
It can be inspiration for two things at once.
B.A’s driving was great. his straightaway driving style was to tun the steering wheel from the 10:00 position to the 2:00 position. miraculously, the van never veered.
The Cylon/BSG callback in the credits always amuses me.
That’s my favorite part, when after any catastrophic vehicle crash there is a guaranteed shot of people climbing out of the wreck, just to emphasize that no one was hurt.
That’s what finally caused me to quit watching in disgust (as a kid, back when it was still being made ^^’): A helicopter was directly hit by a Stinger, exploded into flame, and crashed into a mountain at full speed…
…And everyone climbed out of the wreckage, coughing into their fists -.-’. Reading @SheiffFatman’s post above, I’m pretty sure it’s that exact, same episode!
Edit -> I just realized that I say this, but I also have a strong suspicion that I have seen literally every episode of the show, at one time or another. Hm. It’s sort of like I make fun of and disparage “Gilligan’s Island,” yet I definitely have seen every episode, plus all 3 movies. Hey, what can I say, no internet + reruns = I even watched the silly younger-kids’ shows on Saturdays, or perhaps (the horror!) “The Smurfs”. spits Ick.
Part of the popular mythos that machine guns are just fun toys rather than instruments of mass death and maiming.

The cartoon violence of the show made for a very disagreeable mix when they tried to save the show by making it more serious in the last season. :-/
Such a great cameo.
I dont have perfect pitch, but this version of the theme song is a tone (half-tone?) above or below the actual TV theme.
You mean you didn’t like the free marketing of the Ruger Mini-14 directed at kids?
You forgot the main character OXYACETYLENE WELDING!
And second unit footage, lots of second unit footage.
