Yesterday my spouse made me strawberry angel cake for my birthday. Kinda like strawberry short cake. Sliced strawberries are mushed with some sugar and drizzled over a slice of angel food cake. Layer whipped cream and sliced strawberries. A second slice of cake, more strawberry sauce, sliced berries, whipped cream, and finally whole ones for looks. He made the whipped cream but bought the angel food cake.
Pic is not the best. You have to eat it right away or it gets soggy
