Keep in mind that just because someone was associated with Epstein in some manner doesn’t mean anything. Epstein intentionally courted the wealthy and powerful. He constantly put himself in positions where he could meet and interact with these people, both for “legitimate” business interests, and for his sex trafficking business, and to just get and keep himself inside those inner circles of the rich, famous, and powerful. We know that Trump has raped at least one woman, because a jury declared that he had in a civil lawsuit. Nothing in this release of information contains anything new, really. Law enforcement already had this. If there was credible evidence of a crime in here, people would have already been charged.
Also, anyone using Tim fucking Pool or Mario Nawfal as a source is doing no better than using Alex Jones as a source. Stop it!

Right; it’s like some people think Epstein couldn’t have possibly been interested in courting power, influence and status among non-sex criminals as well as fellow predators.
Lots of people can be bought just by offering them luxury vacations (see Clarence Thomas). If you’ve got some celebrity or power broker wrapped around your finger with private jet trips and whatnot why would you risk blowing that by offering them underage prostitutes unless you already know they’re into that kind of thing?

Entirely possible, but (in Trump’s mind and the mind of his followers) probably not even necessary. If you can win an election by proclaiming yourself an unwelcome genital grabber who can commit murder with no consequences and is hot for his own daughter, then I have a hard time imagining this is what he would feel the need to defend himself over.

Remember that QAnon revolves around the idea that Trump is fighting a global paedophile conspiracy. If someone was tasked with explaining away evidence of Trump molesting children, they would come up with something like QAnon.

I’d love if there were evidence of that, but I honestly don’t believe there will be. And the reason is, we know Trump had other methods before Epstein. Trump literally owned a beauty pageant and bragged about taking advantage of people. But, more importantly, we also know Trump reacts to blackmail and kompromat, we’ve seen what the Russians can do. If Epstein had something on Trump, he never would have ended up in jail or dead. And if Trump had him killed, okay, fair enough, but Maxwell is still alive and absolutely has the same information. We just saw some of it released.
No, I don’t think they had anything on Trump. I think Trump absolutely was doing these things, just not through Epstein.

Fair enough. I just think Trump’s presence around Epstein was more about Trump wanting to be part of the rich people’s club and have access to other rich people that Epstein had access to. The man was everything Trump wanted to be and never would be.

For the record that woman never did testify (she dropped the suit before it went to court) and there’s no indication she was ever a prostitute.
Also FWIW that lawsuit was coordinated by a former Jerry Springer producer who had a history of making similarly sensationalist claims against celebrities that he wasn’t able to back up.
We have Trump dead to rights on all kinds of crimes, from rape to fraud to insurrection against the United States. Sex trafficking children with Jeffrey Epstein? Not so much.

His connection as an Epstein client doesn’t go very far with criminal charges. It has a very short statute of limitations.
AFAIK he wasn’t directly involved in procuring victims for Epstein nor engaged in forcible acts. All which would extend the time to charge him.
