This is as bad as Sid Vicious singing My Way. And by bad, I mean bad.
I thought it was a ukelele version of this:
I was wondering how it could even be feasible.
Turn it it’s a different song altogether

Listen to Tiny Tim’s unreleased cover of “House of the Rising Sun”
No. Just no.
Took me as far as “New Orleans” to realise this.
STOP IT! Just thinking about it hurts.
And if I kiss you in the garden, in the moonlight
Will you pardon me, and tiptoe through the tulips with me?
This is actually quite good.
Dark.
Much like his take on the Beatles’ Girl he did with Brave Combo.

You are entitled to your entirely wrong opinion.
Anything with Brave Combo is awesome.
I couldn’t figure out how he could pull it off with that squeaky, high pitched, ‘Tiptoe thru the Tulips’ sound. Imagine my surprise when I, against my better judgement, actually listened to it!
Thank you for posting this so I didn’t have to. I adore this album!
Unusual use of the human voice – however unusual – has always fascinated people. Something in the human psyche, I think.
I met him once, in the 1980’s. He was touring and was in our town with some sort of disreputable carny type outfit. My dad introduced us. He was very polite, very quiet, almost timid and not the least bit tiny.
I saw a re-run of Laugh-in not long after that and felt a little sad. I’m not sure he knew they were laughing at him, not with him.
WRONG ANSWER.
This is fucking awesome.
This is friggin’ awesome. Totally makes my day. A+++ will listen again.
How exceedingly unexpected! Am on the hunt for more, and thank you to @TobinL ans @GulliverFoyle for posting some fine examples.
@Bill_Sudbrink this is not your Johnny Carson’s Tiny Tim. Am reminded a bit of Screamin’ Jay Hawkins.
Who else got to stay up late to watch his wedding?
