She’s purposefully being interviewed in front of a previous AF1. She’s running.

I’m sure she was probably hoping to run, but I’ll be surprised if she can gather a big enough coalition to get anywhere close to the nomination at this point.
2028 is only 6 years away…
There’s no reason she needs a nomination.
In scenario one, Trump get’s the nomination through a primary or they don’t bother with one. Likely she runs outside the party, no nomination needed.
In scenario two, Trump doesn’t get the nomination. Maybe she runs, maybe she doesn’t. She could easily not get out of a primary or even try. Of course, Trump is likely to run outside of the party here.
There are no good options for the Republican party here, which is just fine with me.
