Plinths, you say?
As to the late Margaret Hilda Thatcher, Baroness Thatcher, LG, OM, DStJ, PC, FRS, HonFRSC, BSC, SSC - it is my considered opinion that her singular political work and legacy has earned her every right to be put under a pedestal.

The smoking crater where society used to be is memorial enough. We don’t need to waste time and money on the absurd sci-fi moonshot pipe dream of having a Thatcher statue in a public place somehow not be vandalised.
Seriously what is the point if you can’t vandalize it?
In a sense she was right about:
“People are really rather afraid that this country might be swamped by people with a different culture.”
It’s just that she wasn’t talking about concerns over what her disciples were going to do to British institutions…
I’ve got some new bumper stickers to put on it.
I’m not clicking that.
Better yet, have her standing on crying children clutching empty milk cartons.
Fistful of plinth.
True, because people who don’t like thatch wouldn’t touch the sun either.
Your loss.
By France no doubt.
Max, eh…
A 10’ plinth up her backside would be a good start.
Then, maybe a crest and some supporters.
The facts are there for you to see. Reagan did the same. They wanted the racist vote, consequences be damned.
As @anon73430903 notes above, that was before Delors destroyed her dream Europe by making those pesky unions and labour rights a cornerstone of a united Europe.
Still, it would be fun to shove that quote in the faces of the Tory Brexiters who worship her.
It is fun, that’s why I have it inboxed!
