Luna was elected as a reformer and he’s still closing ranks and making excuses for dodgy behaviour. The state or even the federal government should have stepped in at least a decade ago to clean out this cesspit of thuggery.
This is slightly encouraging, but what are the consequences if the deputies fail to comply? Do they have to move to a new department a couple miles down the road?
A stern finger wagging and threats to wag a finger at them again and make “tsk tsk tsk” noises if they’re caught doing it again anywhere cameras might see them.
Soooo, what are the chances that this crackdown is more about internal power struggles than concern about the public safety?
