…
That’s a fast moving road. Pretty lucky it wasn’t hit by a car.
Well as long as they keep the homeless off the buses in winter, I guess a horse or two are OK.
Now I’ve heard of cart before the horse previously.
No, your CARD. You need to swipe your fare card first. /s
In this case a mare card.
Probably still better behaved and with better hygiene that some late-night riders…
Was it a mane road?
Strangely enough, the smell inside the bus actually improved.
Neigh…
Horse gets on a bus, bus driver says, “Why the long face?”
“It’s not as long as this trip is going to be.”
I’ve been through Wales with a horse with no name,
It felt good to be out of the rain.
One wonders wither it went, then. I expect it was handy for somewhere. Maybe it was one of those roads that can tack from left to right but I’d bridle at using a road like that. Maybe it flanks the main road? At least the horse got off the bus and the driver wasn’t saddled with it. But I bet it would stirrup some talk amongst the other passengers.
I already have my coat, don’t worry.
UK bus service is so bad, it’s almost animal cruelty to ask this poor thing to take the bus.
(Seriously, one wonderful thing about rural areas is that people are used to problem solving, handling animals, etc. I took volunteer fireman training in the city nearby. When the instructors pointed out that a fireman should be prepared to lead cattle out of a farm, the looks on the faces differed widely between city people and country people!)
The South Wales Police Roads Policing Unit: Crime and PUNishment.
Oh, he actually stable-ized the bus.
By the way, Jalopnik’s article says the horse was in fact hit by more than one car, but he wasn’t hurt, and didn’t seem neighgative about it.
