Haven’t watched this video all the way through yet - but Frasier was part of Lion Country Safari in Irvine - not Los Angeles. I was lucky enough to interview Jerry Kobrin - P.R. man extraordinaire who came up with the whole stunt - back in the early 1990s just before he passed. It’s a ridiculous and super interesting story!

There was also a movie, Frasier, the Sensuous Lion, in 1973, where Frasier imparts the secrets of his success to a hapless reporter who has no luck with the ladies.
