My cat recently developed some … odd behavior. He loves nothing more than drinking water from the shower.
He’ll walk into the shower and meow for me to turn it on. Then he licks the water as it makes its way to the drain. He often gets quite wet in the process, but doesn’t seem to mind.
This has replaced standing-on-his-hind-legs-to-drink-from-an-18-qt-sous-vide-bucket as his preferred water source. His actual water bowl is a distant third.

I dont think this is odd behaviour. Every cat Ive known has enjoyed shower water.
Ive had many cats watch me while Ive been in the shower. But I wont talk anymore about my personal life on this thread.

Put the water bowl in the shower…then if s/he goes for it, put it next to the shower after a few weeks. In just a year, s/he will have you full trained.

Mine started drinking water there, but I suspect that closing the door and turning on that water would lead me to be found at the bottom of the stairs after a terrible “accident.”
