What, because the people who are going to vote for him went off the deep end? But that was also true last election, which you might remember he lost.

So incredibly dumb.

If the weather could actually be weaponized, TFG would be at the bottom of some ocean’s trench by now…

A) You don’t get to speak for everyone.

B) Keep that unhelpful defeatist shit to yourself, please.

C) At least spell your expletives correctly, like a literate adult.

Hey - he’s losing in the nationwide polls, he’s losing in the swing state polls, he’s doing a tenth of the events he did in 2016, his base isn’t a motivated & he’s not outreaching beyond his base.

I guess that’s good news for Trump?

It isn’t over. Please take your defeatism somewhere else. Too many lives matter for that shit to spread.

ANNNND… he’s in shitty shape when it comes to both health and age, so that orange fucker could still stroke out before election day.

Hope springs eternal…

So, I hate to be that guy, but let’s do a quick reality check.

Sure, it’s a barrel of laughs to interview these folks and pretend to be surprised that they say weird things. Good times.

But this woman’s world view and the words she’s saying are completely internally consistent and well grounded in historical precedent. She’s not saying “Democrats used this one ridiculously implausible way to change the outcome of an election using modern technology.” She’s using technology terms but she is saying something very simple, that has been said over and over again throughout history.

“Those people, those others, they used witchcraft to harm decent folks.”

I’m sure she agrees with J.D. Vance on the blood libel too.

This isn’t silly nutcases, this is a homicidal intent looking for justification, stated plainly for the world to hear.

Quick Edit to add: We’ve beaten this stuff before and we will beat it again.

That is absolutely correct, and absolutely terrifying. Laughing at the stupidity is (IMHO) more of a survival strategy, though. I do not think anyone reading this site will downplay the danger. We just need a way to not be paralyzed by it.

Someone needs to tell this woman that, if you believe that the government is creating hurricanes and aiming them at people, you don’t have to splurge on a “yes, I’m a trump girl” t shirt. We know, honey, we know.

Just because these people seem to believe nonsense, that doesn’t mean that they are not dangerous.

Don’t mistake ridicule for mere dismissal.

“For the record, prejudices can kill, and suspicion can destroy, and a thoughtless, frightened search for a scapegoat has a fallout all of its’ own for the children, and the children yet unborn. And the pity of it is that these things cannot be confined to… the Twilight Zone.”

I have been seeing this sentiment a lot on social media and I honestly assume most of it is just Russian misinformation… but of course there are people out there who believe it or will just repeat it b/c it makes them feel better.

I can see she’s just sweating cognitive dissonance. So eager to show she’s a true believer while somewhere in her brain something is screaming “None of what you’re saying makes any sense!!!”

i’m pretty sure this rational “trump girl” sits on a school board somewhere.

Isn’t that the same thing I said? Just making sure I didn’t miss something.

I’m more questioning the game the press plays where they pretend to be surprised by this for a sound bite.

The fact that it’s deadly was my whole point.

It feeds the endless 24 hour news cycle and lines the pockets of those in charge of the press.

My bad if it seemed as if I was ‘splaining’ or ‘hepeating’ you.
