Honestly, I’m on the kidnapper’s side on this one. Outdoor cats are a massive menace to wildlife and he seems to have been trying to give it a home; indoors, hopefully. By the day I’m getting less and less ok with people keeping outdoor cats and feeding strays.

Real life cat burglary is much less exciting than the movie versions.

The only way I would be on the cat-napper’s side is if this was his long-lost cat. Still, it would be the prudent thing to do to bring up his issue with the restaurant and ask to have the cat scanned for an I.D. chip.
