Unfortunately the issue is more widespread, the oh so free and democratic western world becomes more sinister with every year. Worst police violence enabler in the European Union is currently Romania.

I hadn’t thought of that. Not unique to here, but I think we share a lot of cultural foundations here in North America that lie behind the Dirty Harry role playing that passes for policing in too many jurisdictions.
