Seems only reasonable. Also, that plastic baggie better be $350 worth of quality.
COP: I hope you enjoyed that “reefer”, son, because the only “high” where you’re going is the voltage. In the electric chair I mean.
STONER: I don’t think so, hombre. See, the law says I got freedom of assembly, and another word for “assembly” is “joint”. Read the constitution, dude!
COP: Curses! I have no power in the face of tenuous puns! [drives off, shaking fist]
Massohcheichei?
Damn, you beat me to it.
No shit. I hadn’t heard that. I was looking forward to going across the border then, if I’m still stuck here on the east coast. Fuckin’ lame, man.
Since I got to NY ~3 years ago, the heads of both parties in the assembly have gone down for corruption, and Cuomo shut down his corruption task force when it started investigating his corrupt cronies, but the local rubes keep voting for Democrats and Republicans, so I have to assume they just like their politicians corrupt.
It shouldn’t be too hard to use a laser and print an artsy pattern on the bag. Depending on the pattern you pay more. Plus, they could be numbered, so a limited edition could cost more than one with a more common pattern.
I don’t understand that there is a problem with the amount of pot in there. After all, isn’t it natural to buy the aunt that gives you a nice sum to help you out a larger bouquet than the aunt that didn’t do that?
Bert
Just moved from NH to ME.
NH has had medical weed for a couple years now, and it’s basically impossible to get unless you have cancer or AIDS- and even then, it’s still more trouble than it’s worth for most people.
ME passed legalization via voter referendum two months ago, and people are already pricing out storefronts.
I have a number of brewer friends who did this for years- they would sell pens for $20-$30 apiece, each with a free bottle of mead.
The Mass recreational marijuana law was presented as, basically, Treat Pot Like Alcohol. You can give someone homebrew beer, or beer that you bought, but if you resell beer or sell honebrew for a profit, you’re breaking the law. You can’t sell beer on a street corner, drink beer while walking down the street, or sell beer in a store without a license. All of those situations now apply to pot.
But can you spell it?
That part is easy to fix. Just make all the bags the same price and allow people to buy multiple bags.
if you want to be on your face, get the $400 dollar empty baggie.
not exactly a shortage of those outside of the Old Port.
This isn’t much different than the escort services that sell things like “companionship” and any sex that happens is a non-gauranteed bonus that may happen if the escort is up for it.
No kidding. Biddeford is really starting to attract a serious arts community, and there’s a ton of empty retail space.
Are you local? I’m right near Old Orchard / South Portland.
So. . . Mass. legalized weed, and you’re complaining because you can’t buy it at Tedeschis or Star Market?
Pick any red state, I guarantee you there are people there envious of Massachusetts’ weed laws.
Stores aren’t actually required to accept returns - that’s just a customer courtesy. There is an implied warranty of merchantability, though. So, if you buy a watch, and it turns out to have no actual watch mechanism, you should be able to return it regardless - however, it might take a small claims court suit to make that happen. Daiso, the Japanese “Dollar Store”, has an all sales final policy. But I don’t know of that actually gets them out of an implied warranty of merchantability.
So, he doesn’t have to accept the plastic bag back unless you can prove it isn’t usable as a plastic bag. And if he says the bag is sold As Is, then you might not be able to return it even then.
