Strategy coming soon to an American election near you…

Reminds me of that old game show “To Tell the Truth” where they’d bring out three similarly-attired people all claiming to be the same notable figure and contestants would have a limited number of questions to puzzle out which one was the real deal.

This election brought to you by Geritol!

Whoa, and the OP was in St. Petersburg Russia, and your post was St. Petersburg Florida…Did one of these scandals create a scandal in another city of the same name to confuse media coverage about their same-name scandal?

Of course, with this tactic, you run the risk of electing two people with the same name:

The Reuters article isn’t clear about which is the real Boris. Is it Boris Ivanovich, the one in the middle?

They’re all real Boris Vishnevskys, they’re just variant versions from alternate realities.

It’s the same appearance, in a town of the same name…

He’s the one in the tie on the right

The FSB/KGB really getting inventive here. They could just arbitrarily bar him from running or trump up a tax case and imprison the guy. Or he could drink the wrong tea and never wake up.

At this point, frustrated Russians are thinking: can’t we just go to a full-on totalitarian state ruled by terror and fear?

As least he’s not running against T. Novichok.

You haven’t seen the latest polls, have you?

Yabloko look like they won’t make the 5% threshold, so Putin isn’t that concerned, but he probably wants to make sure that doesn’t happen.

Also revived in the British game show “Never mind the Buzzcocks” as the “Identity Parade” segment. Where they’d bring on obscure musicians from decades old one-hit wonders and the contesants would have to identify them in a mixed lineup of identically dressed extras.
