It’s well known that Bluetooth is another nefarious creation of the Elders of Zion.

I like how she felt moved to pre-emptively insist on her sanity in anticipation of the understandable response to her nonsense.

A modest proposal: MGT should take up smoking crack. Her utterances would probably become more sane (or at least, more explainable).

Can you point to where the laptop touched your TV, Marjorie?

A Jewish person anyway, famed actress Hedy Lamarr.

I’m thinking too much about this… do any TVs have a capability to spy on you? Maybe through voice recognition inputs? Are there any TVs with cameras built in? In any case it seems like it would involve some serious installation of equipment and not just a neighbor easily hacking into your home Or hotel TV.

But yeah probably someone accidentally broadcast their computer to the wrong smart TV on a communal free wifi…

Or she’s stealing wifi access from a neighbor.

Chances are the TV was just lonely and trying to connect with a sympathetic nonjudgmental screen. Wouldn’t you if you were being yelled at all the time?

Recently (having connected them) i was watching TV on my laptop and thereupon was a person watching TV on a laptop, is there a connection? (“dunno, have the republicans form a committee to investigate depictions of Hunter Biden’s laptop”)

All smart TVs do have that and all do spy on you.

That’s not paranoia, that’s literally what they are designed to do.

I’ve been watching too much murder she wrote and Columbo but I have the feeling she’s at that “on the edge” point where if she was doing something criminal you could catch her by waiting around at the scene of the crime for her to come look for the evidence she accidentally left behind because you made her paranoid with a subtle hint. It’s this whole “Doth Protest too much” tone. But in this case it might not necessarily be anything criminal. Just the legal but highly immoral stuff she does every day catching up with her conscious knowing that over half of America hates her guts.

You have to feel bad for Biden. Poor guy probably didn’t even have time to go home and unpack his luggage after leading Prigozhin’s march on Moscow to cover for Hunter; and now he’s stuck Chromecasting into Marjorie’s TV for the Deep State.

That’s just no recipe for work/life balance.

Yeah but I mean like - a tv Listening for voice commands and creating an open line for a person to hack into and literally listen in on (or record or transcribe) conversations in the room aren’t exactly the same. I mean I know Amazon knows I saw an ad on another website or netflix knows what shows my neighbors are watching but I don’t think that’s the sort of thing MTG is suggesting.

If it was really a threat, a real attempt to spy on a member of Congress, rather than just another cry for attention, one would expect the police, FBI, (Geek Squad?), etc. to be looking into it.

I’d love to find a good biography of her. Everything I’ve (admittedly quickly) scanned through doesn’t seem that thorough.

The police and FBI are the ones watching her. (/s)
