Yes.
Without a professional diagnosis, any accusations of mental illness harm people with actual mental illnesses more than the target. That is why the guideline is there.

The minority leader has no authority or power to shut down anybody, least of all a member of the majority party. The Republicans are in control of the house, the Dems cannot censure anyone. This asshat and her cronies are not the fault, nor responsibility, of the Democrats. The Republicans own them and seem to be OK with their incendiary rhetoric. Empty Green and co are not a “both sides” issue. They are republican to the core, and very much represent the Republican core.

Again, welcome aboard! This is a great community— really and truly. The Mutants here are some of the sharpest, best-informed folks you’ll ever want to converse with. The Guidelines are super-helpful, and are part of what makes this place so great. Their application might take some getting used to, but with time and observation it does make sense.

Yes. If you are not a physician who has examined them or have knowledge of such, we do not make assumptions about mental conditions. For the simple reason that being a Fascist asshole is not a symptom of mental illness, it is a choice.
