Here’s hoping! Not in terms of the destruction he’s caused, but I hope someone like McGrath has a better chance next time. I wonder, if the election were held now, if she might win.

I got to say, if the progressive candidate had won in the primary, they might have beaten McConnell.

Maybe. I don’t know how popular he is with his constituents after all this.

I would not be surprised if we learn over time that many of the GOP winners and a significant chunk of 45’s votes were in fact fraudulent at the system level in states like Kentucky and North Carolina. On one hand I don’t want that to be true, because of the damage it would do to voter confidence and trust in our election systems. OTOH, the projection from the GOP is so consistent, that when they scream so loudly about fraud and a stolen election, often with VERY specific complaints about electronic voting machines, it makes me think that odds are good they are describing their own behavior.

The kind of outrage we’re seeing just telegraphs “there’s no way you won, and we know it because we cheated! You stole our stolen victory from us!”
