I can’t wait for McGruff the Pre-crime Dog. Seems like it should be in an alternate version of Minority Report, maybe the kids show cartoon version

This may technically fall under parody but there’s nothing exaggerated about this. Cover your own ass. Police officer have no mandate to help your loved ones. They are there for a paycheck.

One of the biggest, less-obvious, problems with the police is that they want to close cases at all cost, even if it means an innocent person gets locked up. They have the very human capacity to fool themselves into thinking ‘they got the right guy’ because it’s hard to admit a mistake, particularly when they’ve invested so much time and effort, and an innocent person’s life has been ruined.

Well, dogs seem to be able to sniff out many other things before they become apparent (like cancer) so why not crime?

Is McGruff a LEO, private detective, or just an ordinary citizen? Asking because with the retro trench coat, he looks a bit like a flasher.
