Personally I think that religion should be kept out of public life. Schools shouldn’t have any religious holidays, Christian, Muslim, Jewish… any.

They can avoid exams on holidays as a courtesy, but that should be it.

If you tried to keep a public school open on Christmas Day I don’t think most people would show up anyway.
