Sure, fewer politics, meaning people who are ‘political’ by virtue of existing. There are a lot of reports from people in my community (LGBTQIA+, and trans specifically) saying they are shadowbanned and have basically no engagement, merely for being who they are. I don’t know a lot of people on that platform as a result, and have elected not to join personally.
Just found out Zuck is a keynote speaker at SIGGRAPH this year.

ETA: Apparently he and Jenson Huang of Nvidia are here to sing the praises of generative AI, before an audience of creatives who will be put out of work by such technology. Sounds like he bought his way in. And also insisted on the replacement of the large, functional projectors that are typically used for such sessions with some flaky giant monitors, which still aren’t working right as of the first day of the conference.
