Mike Huckabee repeats joke twice to elicit laughs from elderly all-white audience

I’m not defending Huckabee but surely there are better (that is, worse) clips. The repeating-a-joke-I-know-is-bad is a time-honored shtick employed by actual comedians. From the headline, I expected him to be literally repeating a joke used 5 minutes prior because his audience had dementia.

But, wow, Huckabee is scraping the bottom of the barrel now. At first I thought he was on “TBS” (huh, with Conan?), then see its “TBN”-- Trinity Broadcast Network (as in the trinity, so, a Christian “broadast network”).

Every time Mike Huckabee tries to make a joke on Twitter it’s like watching the beta-version of a malicious alien AI trying to pass itself off as a human being.
