Hopes rapidly fade that any measure of the coolness here can be replicated with a frightful unalphabetized pile of old computer parts (avec CRT!), a rusty hacksaw, and bits of an old meccano set with all the screws lost.

I think you could do better, but that gearmotor that the leadscrew and motor mount fit was a little too well planned…I guess he wanted to entertain the banana all along?
